Our history
Samet Srl was founded in Livorno in 1990 as a design and manufacturing company for assembly machinery and equipment. In the automation and industrial handling sector, it will remain active until the 2000s, providing innovative solutions to companies wishing to optimize their production processes, making use of new technologies related to electronics and information technology.
In the early 2000s, with the entry into the company of the current Legal Representative, SAMET Srl began to make its way into other sectors and thus began the manufacture of the first mechanical elements for third parties.
Over the years the company grows, begins to expand and in a short time arrives to enlarge its production spaces in fact in 2003, it has renewed its machinery by purchasing new CNC machines.
In 2005 a new metrology room was created and the first Tesa3D CMM machine was introduced to guarantee maximum product quality and increase customer satisfaction.
In 2006 it obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001 certification for the first time and the following year it entered the automotive market with the first prototype processing.
Since 2018 SAMET Srl is a company certified according to the international standard EN 9100: 2018 , the quality management standard for the aerospace industry. This has made it possible to further improve business processes and establish a proactive prevention and improvement culture to ensure constant product quality.
To date Samet Srl is at the forefront in precision mechanical processing, we supply mechanical parts made to the customer's design / specification with or without material for processing, using CNC machinery and ensuring precision in processing, respecting geometric and dimensional tolerances.
